Fall 2007 Courses
Gospel of John 1-1 Bible Study
Written by Jesus' most beloved disciple, the
Gospel of John as found in the Bible offers unique insight into the life and
ministry of the most central figure in human history: his miracles, his
claims, the events that led to his crucifixion, and perhaps most compellingly
his encounters with the individual persons whose lives and stories were
touched and transformed. This course explores the stories and teachings
of Jesus Christ, and considers their lessons, truths, and applications.
Course 101
Have you ever wondered
about the meaning of life? Or what true love is? Are you curious to know more
about Jesus and why he is considered the most influential person ever? Or
perhaps you've been attending church all your life, but are still left unsure
of your faith or how to articulate it. Course 101 is written for anyone
seeking the truth, and it includes excerpts and articles from well-known
scholars and authors while also providing an intellectual basis for
Christianity. We guarantee that you will discover much food for thought
within the profound writings and concepts presented in this course.
Course 101 is an 8-week
course developed and offered by Asian Baptist Student Koinonia. It lays an
intellectual basis for answers to some of the most commonly asked questions
about the Christian faith and addresses misconceptions about God, Jesus, and
the Bible. With the college skeptic and thinker in mind, Course 101 is
presented in conjunction with a course reader which includes excerpts from
noted scholars and thinkers. For any person interested in life, truth,
God, or the person of Jesus Christ, Course 101 surveys the most influential
faith and ideology in history.
