I'm a generally friendly person to talk to, amiable and helpful. If you ever need any help or have any questions don't hesitate to ask me. About myself, I'm from a small town in the Central Valley (where all the crops grow), didn't see much but grapevines while growing up till I got to Irvine. And I decided to do engineering as a major because of my participation in the MESA program in High School.

Hey everyone my name is Chris. I come from the Bay Area which is up in Nor-Cal. I’m a shy person when you meet me at first, but once you get to know me, I’m actually really loud and talkative. I’m open to trying new things and enjoying new experiences. My main interests are basically basketball and video games. I keep up with technology and try to get the latest tech gadgets whenever I can. My involvement with FUSION began when I was a freshman in 2005. Since coming to the first meeting, I’ve felt an atmosphere that feels like home and met great people who are currently my friends. That’s all I have to say right now so feel free to come talk to me anytime!

My life was shaped significantly by the fact that the only friends I had when I was little were imaginary. In fact, from the way my sister recalls it, I actually preferred them to real people. Overall it just made me socially different from the norm in ways that are better observed then explained. My current career aspirations lie in the field of stand up comedy and actuarial science. Stand up comedy because I love making people laugh. Actuarial science because I want to keep my girlfriend. I joined Fusion in the beginning of my 3rd year (2006) and became an active member of the Fusion Tek dance team.

Computer Engineering
I'm actually a very shy person, but if you can get comfortable with me, I seriously don't stop talking. I like to keep up with technology, though I tend to keep from spending too much money. My interests are in the graphics and audio department, but, unfortuantely, I still don't know what I want to do beyond college. I have a large range of skills including math and computer programming, plus, my interest in technology helped me to choose my major. During my free time, I love to play video games and watch Anime, but I also love to play tennis for physical activity. If you ever see me walking around campus, don't be afraid to say hi, and that goes for every board member. Some of us may be intimidating at first, but we are a very fun and friendly group of people.

I came to UCI in 2006 as a transfer student from College of the Canyons in Valencia, CA. As soon as I set foot upon this campus, I decided to join FUSION and have been involved ever since. As for information regarding myself, my interests include volleyball, racquetball, rock climbing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, drawing, and writing bios about myself, just to name a few. If you would like to know more about me, feel free to ask and I’ll provide an answer, whether factual or not. The reason that I chose my major, was because it involves a combination of science, math, and art, which all interest me. Hopefully, I will go on to go on to become a Civil Engineer, Architect, or a Graphic Designer/Animator.

David grew up in a military family traveling around the pacific ocean spending the bulk of his time on Guam. He chose attended UCI because it was the best school he was accepted to. David floated around many of the science related majors at UCI before deciding that what he truly desired was a career where logic and practicality was valued over memorization and theory. David has a background in basketball and volleyball and has been the Sports Coordinator for FUSION since 2006.

Informatics
From my tutoring days in high school, I have always been interested in helping people whether academically and personally. My interests are tricking, snowboarding, soccer, tennis, guitar, kayaking, tetris, etc. I also like building new things and trying out new experiments. I come from a semi-small city called Ontario (some people might recognize its name from a close mall called Ontario Mills and the airport). I chose Informatics because it seemed to involve a whole variety of disciplines such as Human Computer Interaction, Psychology of Design, and Software Development. One day, I would like to own my own business and continue to help people out.

I moved from the Philippines the end of fall 04; and transfered from LA City College last Winter Quarter 2007. I came to FUSION mid Spring Quarter 2007; the experience proved to be a good escape from my academics. I originally wanted to become historian because I wanted to take pictures, and then co-pub just to mess with Justin. Both, as you can see, are going as planned. I decided to do InFUSION just for the hell of taking on a challenge; and so far it proves to be very fulfilling. I do not aim to become a journalist, but I expect that this experience will improve my leadership skills. Aside from bossing around other board members; I also like swimming, Pinoy Rock, doing taste tests for my brother, going on trips to see the world and camping on tee-pees. I am hoping to become a Civil Engineer in about two years and i wish run my own store or firm in the future.
