It's 7th week meaning only 3 weeks of schooling left this year! Midterms, papers, and projects are piling up and you guys are all fighting to get through this. Fortunately, FUSION is here to help! We still have our meetings for you guys to chill, have fun, and learn, but we still have a bunch of other fun activities for you guys!
FUSION's 7th General Meeting: "Playing the Stock Market"
Date/time: Wednesday, May 14th at 7pm
Location: ICS 209
This week is going to be an informational meeting for all you guys. You hear terms like "stocks" and "shares" and the "Dow Jones" being thrown around, but do you know what they all are? Ever wondered how to take advantage of the stock market? This is the meeting to go to if you're a gambler and want to play the stocks! We'll have all the information and tidbits for you.
Of course, we'll have plenty of snacks and drinks to go around.

So it's finally past the halfway point of the quarter. I hope you guys are doing well on your midterms. There's always study hours for you guys Tuesday, just in case you need any help or just some study time. In any case, this week's meeting is a classic engineering problem... But with a twist!
FUSION's 6th General Meeting: "Balloon Mousetrap Car"
Date/time: Wednesday, May 7th at 7pm

Yup... BALLOON mousetrap car. You may have heard of Mousetrap car competitions, but I bet you've never heard of Balloon Mousetrap car competitions. This one's a classic, but this time you'll get balloons to help propel your mousetrap car. Start thinking of ideas!
Of course, snacks will be provided!

Three wonderful guests will be speaking for you. David Gurrola, President of GROWit LLC., will be talking about Rapid Prototyping and 3D Printing. Following our first presenter is a representative of Boeing, Phil Dunlap, who will speak about Systems Integration. Last, but not least, one of our very own UCI professors, Martha Mecartney, will present on Superplastic Ceramics.
Food will be provided by Stonefire Grill, and don't miss out on FUSIONTek's performance.

FUSION's 3rd General Meeting: "Drugs and Alcohol"
Date/time: Wednesday, April 16th at 7pm
Location: ICS 209
As you can tell, we'll be having a meeting about drugs and alcohol, but this won't be the same thing you've learned if you've ever been to a Health Education Center sponsored drug meeting. This meeting wil be hosted by our very own drug expert, Nate, and we'll make sure you learn way more than those education center thugs can teach you ;).
As usual, we'll have snacks this meeting, and don't forget to come out to Aldrich Park this Saturday from 10 to 2 for Wayzgoose. Your very own FUSION will be boothing out there and selling some food. Plus, if you're a prospective board member, please come pass by the booth!
