• EECS Faculty Interview:
  You may choose one of your favorite EECS professors. This is a great chance to get to know them on a personal level and find out more about his/her interests. Please submit a short 1-page summary about your interview.
• Personal Resume:
  A must for any job or internship. Please submit a hard copy.
• Monstertrak Resume:
  Post your resume on Monstertrak at www.monstertrak.com, the most popular online job service, which allows you to make your resume accessible to many companies. Submit a printout as valid proof.
• Company Report:
  Research on two companies that you might want to work for and write a short summary about the companies. No more than 2 pages long.
• Events:
  • 1 community service
  • 1 fundraiser
  • 1 social
  • Attend 3/4 meetings.
• Membership Fee:
  There is a $85 LIFETIME membership fee that MUST be paid; no exceptions ($40 goes to the Headquarters for your BRIDGE and certificate, $45 goes to the initiation BANQUET and other activities occurring during the year). To get your bridge, please pay a deposit of $35, which will be counted towards your membership fee. Please make checks payable to Eta Kappa Nu.
• Polish Bridge:
  You MUST polish and mount the bridge. There will be a prize awarded to the best-polished bridge and most creatively mounted bridge. Bring it to the initiation ceremony.
• Initiation Ceremony:
  You MUST attend the ceremony to be initiated – it’s Eta Kappa Nu’s tradition. Date, Time and Place will be announced later in the quarter; business casual attire only. Following the ceremony, you will be escorted to an elaborate banquet celebrating your initiation. You may bring a guest to the banquet; however, the guests will need to pay for their dinner on a separate bill. DO NOT be late for initiation. You will not be initiated if initiation has commenced by the time you arrive.
