Spring Quarter: Final Announcements! Week 10

Prayer Items:
Please continue to pray for our brother Ben and his family who are going through a very confusing and difficult time with the loss of their cousin, son, or nephew’s loss this past Monday. Pray that God will provide them with clarity during this time, as well as just overwhelming comfort and peace.

Also continue to pray for our upcoming conference to Catalina. Pray that God’s presence will be amongst us and that we will be able to go deeper into God’s word through our studies.

INSANE (Incredible Senior Appreciation Night Event) is this thursday instead of Praxis. It is at Corona Del Mar (beach, woo hoo), and if you want a ride meet at In-N-Out at 6:20.

Still thinking about Doug's talk on race? Trying to figure out what God said about race and how it applies to our lives? Interested in
discussing Doug's book? We'll be having a discussion open to everyone interested in learning more about one another's culture and God's direction with it on Saturday, June 3rd from 10am-12 noon at 408 Stanford Ct.

Prayer Item for this week: This Thursday is the National Day of Prayer. In honor of that, please pray for any national cause that is close to your heart. Keep our nation in your prayers.

There will be a leadership meeting this Sunday 7-10 PM in HH 108. Come learn about applying the lessons that we have learned in our lives and Jesus' example as a leader in his community.

Spring Quarter: Week 4 Announcements

Prayer Item for this week: Let’s take this week to pray for the other
Christian Fellowships at UCI. Pray that God will be using them on this
campus to bring others into the Kingdom and build up Christian leaders.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped out with Beyond OC!!! We were able
to fundraise nearly $7,000! So thank you so much for your efforts and your
support! Also if you have not paid yet, then please get that into Serene
ASAP! Thank you!

Desert Streams Ministries is having a conference entitled _CROSSWALK_ in
LA. It's a safe and open place to hear and discuss issues regarding sexual
identity, sexual addictions, relational brokenness, emotional dependency,
promiscuity, homosexuality, masturbation, pornography,etc. This conference
will be from April 28-29th. It will be from 7pm-10pm on Friday, and
9am-10pm on Saturday. For more info, please contact Sherilyn

Prayer Item for this week: Please keep Beyond OC/mission fundraising in your prayers. Please pray that our team will be able to rely on God for funding and that we will trust that God will provide for us.

GUESS WHAT?! Beyond Orange County: Loving the City, Loving the World (our fellowship fundraiser) is coming soon! It is THIS Saturday, April 22nd! Dinner will be served and this will be a great opportunity to have a fun time and also show support to your friends going on missions this summer. Money will also be raised for events including upcoming conferences. Tickets for Beyond OC will be sold this Thursday. The price is $20 for adults/alumni, $15 for college and high school students, and $10 for children.

I wanted to invite you all on a fun little excursion around Irvine this weekend. I wanted to see if we could have some items donated as door prizes for Beyond OC. I plan to hit up bookstores/ Christian stores/ etc. on Friday from 1-4pm. Then on Saturday from 1-4pm, I will be hitting up the stores by UC Irvine.
