Phi Sigma Rho- Pi Chapter
University of California, Irvine

The Phi Sigma Rho Colony at UCI began during the summer of 2002, when roommates Regina Tam and Karen Sam discovered the colonization of Phi Sigma Rho at UCLA. "Wouldn't it be great if there was an engineering sorority at UCI?" The two sent out emails to the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at UCI asking for girls, who were interested in such a feat, to come together for a general meeting. The response was astonishing and the alpha class was finalized with a group of thirteen very dedicated and amazing girls.

The ladies of Phi Sigma Rho are an active part of the Henry Samueli School of Engineering, both partaking in the events hosted within the school as well as throughout the campus. As the newest associate member of the Panhellenic Association, Phi Sigma Rho offers women in the sciences and engineering fields the opportunity to become involved within the Greek community. However, it also provides women with the opportunity to network with each other and gain access to important resources which may become useful upon entering the business world.

Some of the events we partake in are the annual Engineering Week, Buddy Games, Wayzgoose, and other various on campuswide events.
