Message-ID: <1209.68.231.212.200.1177909100.squirrel@webmail.uci.edu> Hey Everyone, Tomorrow, Monday April 30th, is Elections Day for ASU! We will be hearing speeches from each candidate regarding why they feel they are qualified for the given position they are applying for. This is a very important meeting because it will determine who will be on ASU?s Executive Board for the 2007-2008 school year. I urge all of you to come to tomorrow?s meeting and make your voices heard as members of Afrikan Student Union through your votes and questions because the outcome of this election will greatly effect all ASU members and the future of our club. IMPORTANT: We will be having the Elections meeting in HIB 135 @ 5pm instead of the Cross Cultural Center so that we have enough time to hear from each candidate and go through the question and answer segment etc. *Only those of you who are paid members of ASU will be allowed to vote. If you paid your $5 membership fee sometime this year and received an ASU t-shirt, you are a paid member and will be allowed to vote tomorrow. If you are not a paid member you can pay your $5 fee tomorrow so your vote will count in this critical election process. For all of you who are already paid members, please come out tomorrow and vote! This is your club so make sure that you have an active role in selecting the next ASU Board. See you tomorrow and MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT! -- Sincerely, Sarahita Wyatt-Paige Afrikan Student Union, Director of Communications Associated Students of UCI, At Large Rep. swyattpa@uci.edu http://spirit.dos.uci.edu/asu From yfatunde at uci.edu Mon Apr 30 15:27:06 2007 From: yfatunde at uci.edu (yfatunde@uci.edu) Date: Mon Apr 30 14:27:09 2007 Subject: [Asu-list] MAPS Elections Message-ID: <2992.128.200.183.16.1177968426.squirrel@webmail.uci.edu> Hey all, Hopefully, everyone is doing well and studying hard for midterms.
