Hey Guys,

I hope you had a wonderful winter break and are ready to take on the new
quarter, or maybe not yet hahahaha. I have some very good news:

* The Susan Samueli Center of Integrative Medicine at the UCI School of
Medicine is offereing an 8-week Tai Chi class starting Wednesday Jan.
11th. Normally it's $85, but I've arranged to get the fee reduced to $25
for students. Please contact me for more info.

* I'm very pleased to announce that an article about AUM will be in the
New U's special features section Week 1 or 2. So look out for that!

Other news:
* I'm waiting to find out what space we have been assigned for our
meetings.. I hope they tell me soon. I plan on having meetings as soon as
we get assigned.

* This quarter we have some great guest speakers to look forward to:
   - Charlene, Our favorite Budhist monk
   - Dr. Joie Jones from the UCI School of Medicine
   - Dr. Kathleen Kawamura from the Counseling Center
   - and perhaps more!

* Early in the quarter I would like to put up alot of posters and have a
table out on ring road to encourage meditation and raise the awareness
about our club. If you guys have any ideas or would like to help out,
please contact me.

* I hope we can get some club t-shirts out this quarter.

Thats all I can think of for now, sorry for the long email. Good luck this
quarter! Start it off on a good foot. =)
