Well, the goal is to eventually put something in them, despite how trendy empty black frames may be. :p Roger wanted me to solicit you guys about what we could include in them. Some ideas that have surfaced include: 1. Requesting artwork by CHP students 2. Photo collages from past CHP events 3. Having each frame represent a "year" (seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshmen) with appropriate pictures to reflect that year's students that gets updated at the end of every year Nothing has been decided yet, so any input you can provide would be very helpful. Keep in mind that the problem with pictures is that they need to be of really good quality to look good enlarged to the size of the frames (unless we do collages, in which case the picture resolution isn't as big an issue). Unfortunately, in past years this event has relied on the generosity of Errki and his permission for us to use his multiple sets of poker chips. We are trying to contact Erkki to see if he would be willing to come down to Irvine and play/help us out, but in the event that he can't make it, we will need to find other ways of accumulating chip sets. Therefore, if you own or know of someone who owns a set of poker chips (and perhaps card decks) and would be willing to loan them to the event, I would greatly appreciate it! Message-ID: Hey guys, This is just a friendly email to remind you that there will be an executive council meeting this Sunday at 3pm in 1020. Again, I know this list serve has lots of people on it (HAs, RAs, PAAs) but this meeting is primarily to discuss upcoming events that CHSC council members will be working on. Others are welcome to come, but I definitely want council members and committee members there. I've only heard from one or two people about conflicts, so I'm assuming everyone else will be there. Before Sunday I want each of you to do a little homework: Social Chairs- Think about upcoming events. The semi-formal and Bombay Dreams are the big events of the quarter, so come prepared to give updates about these two programs. Also...any info you have on Battle of the Brains and banquet would be good. Community Service- How did Hold 'Em go? Where are you taking the cans that were donated? When is gleaning?
