Of $119.18 spent on the production of the 50 yearbooks, I received $50 in compensation from the yearbook sales ($1 apiece). That means I am still short $69.18 Would it be possible for council to reminburse me since they were unable to do so prior to the production due to impending banquet costs? Please let me know what you decide/if you want me to make it an issue for the 5th week meeting instead. I want to know what people think about having a SILENT AUCTION before Winter Break and maybe another (depending on how the first one goes) at the end of the year CHP banquet. Here's how it would work: People would donate whatever items they don't want to CHSC to be auctioned. We would of course review these items and decide if something is inappropriate. We could have the items up for auction on display in The Locus . say during 10th week (during set hours when someone could watch over them if we're concerned about things being stolen). Each item has a list underneath it with how much people want to bid. Obviously, each new bid has to be greater than the previous bid in order to be valid. Whoever bids the most will win that item for the amount indicated. The best part about this is that even if there are items no one bids on, it doesn't matter, because we can't lose money on this, we can only gain. I know I have some old stuff I'd be willing to put up for auction and I'm sure all of you do too.
