Subject: [UCI Cricket] UCI Cricket Club Quarter Wrap-Up

Hello Everybody!! Hope all the finals went well! Glad to be done with one
more quarter :). We had a fabulous quarter!! We had amazing commitment
from our players. Due to which our practices went very well and hence, our
games turned out to be really good. We played two games this quarter and
won both of them!! 2-0 quarter [Hells Yeah!!]. First game was @ UCSD and
we simple demolished [this word might not even do the justice to what we
did]them! We won by about 150 runs!!! Second game was against CSUF. That
was a close game, but with our great team effort we were able to come out
with an amazing victory!

This was just the start of the tournament. Our next two quarters are going
to be real busy. Our first game is going to be during the weekend of Jan
26/27. And there after we are playing at least two games a month. We would
wrap up the tournament in April. I would email you guys about our next
practice. It would be second week of January. We only have Monday and
Wednesday practices from now on.

One of our officer is going to be graduating in Winter quarter, so we are
also looking for someone who is interested in becoming officer. Email me
back if you are interested and I would inform you about the position in
more detail. Officer will be appointed this coming quarter, so that the
transition to the next quarter is easier.

Thank you for coming out to all the practice, it was truly amazing
quarter! I have never seen this much energy in the practices before, lets
keep this up and let's roll over the other teams this coming quarters and
have a perfect season!

Enjoy the break, and some of you have also expressed the desire to play
cricket during the break. If I get email back from good amount of people,
I will go ahead and reserve a field at ARC. So email me back if you guys
are interested and let me know what time works out best for you.
