 Katrina: from Loss to Resistance

Wednesday November 16 at HIB 110 at 3:00 P.M.

While we have all seen news coverage showing the devastation in Louisiana
caused by Katrina, the voice of the People has been absent in the telling of
this story.  On Wednesday (Nov.16th), special speakers Monique Verdin and
Mark Krasnoff will tell the story of Katrina and its aftermath in a
Louisiana Perspective through stunning Photography and Film.

 

Come and hear the collective experiences and struggles of those most
marginalized commmunities (before and after Katrina) in their own voices
this WEDNESDAY (Nov. 16th) at HIB 110 at 3:00 P.M.  

 

A SPECIAL INTRODUCTION will be given by UCI's own MIKE DAVIS.
