Q.  How are meeting roles are assigned? 

A. The duties rotate between members. 

Q. How much will it cost to join? 

A. $55.55 for the first six months, and then $36.00 each six months thereafter.

1.55 tax on new member fee (it pays for books that you will receive) 

Q. How much time is required outside of the club? 

A. On average, 1-2 hours/week.  It is not uncommon for new speakers to spend 5-10 hours preparing for each manual speech, although some spend less time preparing. 

Q. How often will I give a prepared speech? 

A. Generally, one speech every 6-10 weeks 

Q. Do I need to attend every meeting? 

A. No.  But if you can't attend most of the meetings, you should consider a different club at a more convenient time.  Attendance is *very* important.  If you find you are unable to perform in an assigned meeting role (like Timer or Topics Master), you need to  find your replacement from among the other members.  This is why clubs need at least  20 members.
